Q: When I read about you leaving Killswitch Engage, I remember hearing that it was because your voice was pretty much wrecked. What was the rehabilitation process like, and what kind of things did you do to get your voice back in shape, since, at least as far as I think, it's in better shape now than it ever was?

A: I simply lost my voice due to improper use and lack of training. After a little rest I was as good as new according to my doctor. I train with www.vocalrelease.com and techniques I have learned from Melissa Cross and Don Law.

Q: You do a lot of blues, stoner rock and other more mellowed out, classic style rock music with Seemless. What kind of vocal warmups do you have to do, and what sort of excercises do you have to do to keep your voice in shape?

A: See above.

Q: You guys just finished up a new record right?

A: Yes.

Q: Would you still say that Casey Jones is an Evergreen Terrace side project?

A: Casey Jones isn't really an Evergreen Terrace side project, considering the fact that we only share one member. But if being an Evergreen Terrace sideproject can spread our music around and get us on some cool tours...then sure, we're an Evergreen Terrace side project.

Q: How are the songs for the new record turning out?

A: They are already written and recorded. The new record will be out June 6th. The new songs are way better than the songs from The Few, The Proud, and we definitely have a better recording. Also, there isn't a weird rapping thing at the end of this one. Overall, everyone was really happy with how they came out.

Q: How long has Elysia been together and how did you guys get together?

A: It's been like almost 2 years since the core of us started playing together. It was Alex, Kevin and me who started it, we just made a band because we were tired of fisting each other's asses.

Q: Haha...that's the best reason, I think that's how Slayer got started actually.

A: Yeah, we don't actually like music. I think it's actually how most bands start. That or from banging each other's pussies.

Q: Hahaha...what made you guys want to play the style you play, it wasn't really something a lot of bands were doing.

A: Yeah, I guess it's just how we came up. We started off playing Westcoast Worldwide and basicallly only that place. The kids there always hated us, so I think we were just always changing and always trying to do something different.

Q: I've been trying to come up with good questions for this for about a week, maybe more now. So I think I'm prepared.

A: Hahaha, when you wanna do it? Now?

Q: Well, whenever. You got a minute?

A: Yeah. Service might cut out.

Q: Well, you're the one with the job I guess. Where is the tour now? (referring to the tour featuring Remembering Never, Madball, Zao, and Scarlet or The Banner on alternating dates)

A: On the way to Buffalo.

Q: So how long has xBishopx been together?

A: A while. We started because all the songs I wrote for the (then) new Until The End record got fired, but I still wanted to use them, so I started another band, but played guitar. That was like, two years ago? It started more seriously like a year ago. My service is shit, so this may take awhile, haha.

Q: Alright. Not a problem, as I said, other than this I have no real job, so I don't have a demanding schedule at all.

A: True.
